Hilary Rhoda (born April 6, 1987) is an American supermodel from Chevy Chase, Maryland. Rhoda is represented by the agency IMG.
Prior to her career as a model, Rhoda attended and graduated from Holy Cross, an Catholic all-girls' school in her native Maryland. There, Rhoda was athletic and participated in her school's field hockey and lacrosse teams.[1]
In her short career, she has appeared in numerous advertising campaigns with Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Donna Karan, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren and also graced the covers of Vogue Italia twice, Vogue Paris, and W. She regularly appears in the spreads of W, Harpers Bazaar, and the many versions Vogue, while remaining a hot fixture in the runways of Christian Dior couture to Marc Jacobs.
In January 2007, Hilary signed a contract with Estée Lauder as their newest face.[2]
In the May 2007 issue of American Vogue, she was featured on the cover with fellow top models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Chanel Iman, and Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.
In July 2007, earning at an estimated total of $2 million in the past 12 months, Forbes named her twelfth in the list of the World's 15 Top-Earning Supermodels.[3]
She currently stars in the Fall/Winter 2007 season Valentino campaign with fellow supermodels Gemma Ward and Daria Werbowy.
Rhoda is often compared to a young Brooke Shields because of her thick, dark expressive eyebrows, height, pale blue eyes and slightly large chin.[4]
